My clinical expertise is in the field of dermato-oncology and I see patients with melanoma, merkel cell carcinoma, and cutaneous B and T cell lymphomas often as part of a multidisciplinary team with medical, surgical and radiation oncologists and dermatopathologists. I aim to help my patients navigate through our health care team - securing a clear diagnosis to informative decision making of treatment options to supporting them through their treatments. My skin cancer surveillance examinations focus on early detection of melanoma, basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma, while reducing the need for biopsies with aid of dermoscopy and total body imaging. My goal is early identification of skin cancers and more importantly – prevention to improve long term quality of life of our patients. We welcome patients with skin related side effects from systemic cancer treatments (chemotherapy, immunotherapy and/or targeted therapies) to support them through their cancer-related treatments.
